Project Description:

The first major renewable energy project for Metro Louisville. Metro-3The project included three different locations and comprised of 26 kW of solar photovoltaics, a solar thermal system to offset domestic hot water usage and the installation of 46 solar street lights throughout the city of Louisville. The solar street lights utilized LED lighting technology that was estimated to have a 10 year life.
