Designed new lighting and control system for University of Kentucky’s indoor athletic training facility. The scope of the project included removing existing Metal Halide indirect highbay fixtures and replacing them with very durable T5 HO fluorescent highbay fixtures that allowed the university to better adapt the light level requirements based upon the specific sport using the facility. T5HO technology also gave the university the ability to dim the fixtures if necessary and instant on capability, which also added significant energy savings. The customized lighting design maximized energy savings while optimizing lighting quality.
